Oh, hello!

Yep, that's me! Self-portrait in arugula taken at the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture a few years ago. As I'm sure you've surmised, I'm Sarah and I love salad and these are my recipes and suggestions for beautiful, filling, salads and other generally, vegetable-forward, one bowl meals.

A few notes, most of my salads are vegetarian, although, not all are. Almost all of the salad recipes here are my own, although many are inspired by things I've eaten or recipes I've read in which case I'll link you back to my inspiration.

I don't usually specify brands when ingredients, but if you have questions about something specifically that I used just ask me in the comments or send me an email, I'm very happy to share the specifics. I’ve also started to make a google map of places that I like to shop and eat and you can see that here.

I love artichokes, sugar snap peas, English peas, all peas really, ditto all pole and bush beans, Persian or burpless cucumbers, purple cabbage, watercress, shitake mushrooms. I mean, I could go on, but I'll spare you.
